Men鈥檚 track and field takes on regional competition at Amherst Spring Fling
AMHERST, Mass. — The Bates men’s track and field team competed against a host of regional opponents on Saturday at the Amherst Spring Fling, a non-scoring meet. The Bobcats took on the likes of host Amherst, Brandeis, Bridgewater State, Middlebury, Plattsburgh State, RPI, St. Olaf, Tufts, and Wesleyan. Meet Highlights Junior Evan Berthiaume (East Greenwich, R.I.) placed second in his section and seventh overall in the 100-meter dash with a personal-record time of 10.76 seconds, good for fourth on the Bates top 10 all-time performance list.
