Leathernecks Drop Series Finale Against Golden Eagles
MACOMB, IL - The Western Illinois Softball team (10-21, 5-9 OVC) dropped the final game of the 3-game series against Tennessee Tech Sunday afternoon after winning both games of the doubleheader yesterday. Tennessee Tech came out hot to start the game with Jailynn Paderez hitting a two-run home run in the top of the 1st. The Golden Eagles would add 4 more runs in the 2nd on an RBI single from Sofia Carroll that scored two and an RBI double from Paderez.
