Freshman Jaidyn Klimp Breaks 20-Year-Old Women鈥檚 Heptathlon School Record
Freshman Jaidyn Klimp broke a 20-year-old Hope College women’s track and field pentathlon record on Saturday in Troy, Alabama. Klimp, of Galesburg, Mich. (Galesburg Augusta), recorded a fourth-place total of 4,826 points at the Troy University Invitational, topping Lindsay Lange’s 2006 record of 4,790 points. Rebecca Parker of the Windsor Legion Track and Field Club topped a field of 12 with 5,775 points.
