Fox Puts Four in Top Five, Win Ninth Straight Spring Classic
By: Antonio Arredondo TACOMA, Wash. — For the ninth consecutive season, the George Fox women’s golf team captured the Northwest Conference Spring Classic crown, breezing past the competition with a 610 (+34). Top Performances As opposed to the first round, where the Bruins had staggered tee times, their Easter Sunday began with an 8:00 AM shotgun start. Samara D’Silva started on hole 17, and quickly moved up the leaderboards with her excellent play. The sophomore had four birdies, and had a nine-hole stretch where she shot two-under.
