Elon Phoenix Baseball Splits Doubleheader vs North Carolina A&T
Greensboro 鈥� The Elon baseball team (13-18, 5-10 CAA) split their Saturday doubleheader with North Carolina A&T (9-21, 3-9 CAA) to take the weekend series. Elon took game one 11-3, but fell in game two, 6-5. Gar Hindle led the Phoenix offense in game one. Hindle finished 4-for-5 at the plate with four RBIs. Brian DuRoff was not far behind him with a three-hit, three RBI game one win. The Elon pitching worked quick and pitched to contact on Saturday.
