Canubida goes 2-0 but ‘Cats take narrow 4-3 home loss

MCMINNVILLE, Ore. – Linfield women’s tennis fell 4-3 Saturday afternoon hosting the Pacific Boxers in a narrow home loss. The Wildcats’ No. 1 Kaitlynn Canubida posted a 2-0 day with a doubles win alongside partner Samantha Baltz and a three set victory in singles. The match overall saw three retirements, two for the Boxers but also one including Baltz after the first set of No. 2 singles.
