Brewers Close Weekend With Sweep Of Union
Poughkeepsie, NY 鈥� The Vassar College Women’s Tennis team won its third straight contest to start Liberty League play Sunday afternoon with a 7-0 sweep of visiting Union. Ananya Krishnan (Chesterbrook, PA) won her team leading eighth singles match in the victory. Sunday’s victory pushes Vassar back above the .500 mark at 6-5 overall and to 3-0 against league rivals. Vassar improves its winning streak against Union to 31 matches with the Garnet Chargers falling to 2-9 overall and 1-2 in conference play. Doubles Vassar jumped out to a 1-0 lead with victories in all three doubles matches on Sunday.…
