Big Offensive Day Not Enough as Lawrence Drops Contest to Illinois College
Green Bay, Wisconsin– Lawrence University baseball put together a strong offensive showing but couldn’t contain a late surge from Illinois College, falling 14-8 on Saturday afternoon. The Vikings came out swinging early, responding immediately after Illinois College plated two runs in the opening frame. AJ Desantiago delivered the big answer with a two-run home run to tie the game, bringing in Myles Brincks and energizing the Lawrence dugout.
