NEW LONDON, Conn. – The Warriors competed at the U.S. Coast Guard Spring Invitational at Nitchman Field on Saturday. In the U.S. Coast Guard Spring Invitational last year, the Warriors finished in second place out of ten teams on the men’s side. The women’s team finished in seventh place out of twelve teams and finished ahead of LEC opponents UMass Dartmouth. In the field, William LeCuyer (Milford) took fifth for the Warriors in the men’s javelin throw. He qualified for finals and threw 44.82 meters (147’0) in his fifth attempt.
