Thoroughbreds fall in overtime to Saints, 10-9
SARATOGA SPRINGS, NY 鈥� The Skidmore College women’s lacrosse team fell in overtime, 10-9, to St. Lawrence at Wachenheim Field on Saturday afternoon. The Thoroughbreds (6-7, 2-4 Liberty League) produced a shutout of the Saints (5-6, 2-4 Liberty League) in the middle two quarters to take a commanding 9-3 lead, before St. Lawrence flipped the game upside down with six unanswered goals in a shutout fourth quarter of their own to force overtime and ultimately complete the comeback in extra periods.
