Softball Posts Doubleheader Split at Rhode Island College
PROVIDENCE, R.I. 鈥� The UMass Dartmouth softball team posted a doubleheader split on Saturday at Rhode Island College in Little East Conference action. The Corsairs posted a 6-4 win in game two, shouldering a tough 11-10 loss in eight innings in game one. UMD moves to 12-6 overall and 2-2 in conference play. In the game two victory, the Corsairs opened the scoring in the top of the first as with bases loaded, senior centerfielder Sydney Menz was walked to bring a run across.
