Softball Drops Two Against Montclair
NEWARK, NJ- In the first game of the double header match up, Rutgers-Newark showed resilience but fell short in a 5-3 NJAC loss to Montclair State. After two quiet innings, the Scarlet Raiders broke through in the third, plating three runs on timely hitting to take an early lead. Sonica Hughes doubled the clear the bases and knocked in all three of the Raiders’ runs.
