Softball: Alvernia and Hood Halve Commonwealth Series
Frederick, Md. (April 4, 2026) – After a comeback attempt fell short in game one, Alvernia University (10-12, 5-3) bounced back in game two to split its MAC Commonwealth series with Hood College (7-18-1, 2-6) on Saturday afternoon in conference softball action at Hood. The Blazers took a 4-0 lead through three innings in game one of the doubleheader. Alvernia threatened the lead with a three-run sixth inning.
