DETROIT - The IU Indy softball team jumped out to an early lead but couldn't hold off a late surge, falling to Detroit Mercy, 7-6, on Saturday afternoon. The Jaguars struck first in the opening inning when Molly Kable launched a two-run home run to center, giving IU Indy an early 2-0 advantage.
