CNU Baseball Shuts Out No. 9 Salisbury on the Road, 2-0
SALISBURY, Md. — Led by a dominant pitching performance, the nationally-ranked CNU baseball team shut out ninth-ranked Salisbury University (18-7) on Saturday afternoon for a 2-0 victory. The Captains improved to 20-7 overall while earning the team’s first ever shutout at Salisbury. Jackson Baird (4-2) tossed the first seven scoreless and Mitchell Mortensen closed out the effort with the final two in the combined shutout.
