Women鈥檚 tennis builds early lead in 5-2 win over IU East
NEW ALBANY, Ohio 鈥� The Otterbein women’s tennis team claimed a 5-2 win over Indiana University East on Thursday, putting together a complete performance across doubles and singles play. The Cardinals jumped ahead early by taking the doubles point with wins on the top two courts. Junior Taryn Simmers and sophomore Niya Bell earned a 6-3 victory at No. 1, while freshman Raina Smith and junior Breanna Ball followed with a 6-2 win at No. 2.
