Wolves fall to NNU, 6-5 and 4-0, on Friday in Monmouth
MONMOUTH, Ore. — The Western Oregon baseball team dropped both games of a GNAC doubleheader to Northwest Nazarene, falling 6-5 and 4-0 on Friday at the WOU Baseball Field. Northwest Nazarene 6, Western Oregon 5 The Wolves battled back late, but couldn't complete the comeback in the opener. After falling behind 5-2 through four innings, WOU answered with three runs in the seventh to tie the game. Chris Arce drove in a run, while Alex Angevine and Robby Shepherd also contributed RBIs during the rally.
