WILEY FINISHES 2ND IN LONG JUMP AT ALTIS SPRING TUNE-UP
PARADISE VALLEY, Arizona – Trinity Western’s Sheleena Wiley finished second in long jump with a wind-aided leap of 6.23m Thursday at the Altis Spring Tune-Up. Wiley’s mark – if legal – would have put her just nine centimetres shy of Sabrina Nettey’s TWU record of 6.32m. On the men’s side, it was a record-setting day in Arizona for Trinity Western’s Favour Adeyanju and Danny Earles, who both took down long-standing Spartans marks, with Adeyanju setting a new record in the 100m at 10.57 and Earles clocking a best-ever time of 21.11 in the 200m Thursday at the Altis Spring Tune-Up.…
