USF Comes Up Short in Road Doubleheader Against Mavericks
MANKATO, Minn. 鈥� The University of Sioux Falls softball team dropped a pair of NSIC contests today, falling to Minnesota State in a doubleheader at the Maverick Sports Dome. The Cougars were shut out in both games, losing 8-0 in game one and 3-0 in game two. Minnesota State used a big inning in the opener and timely hitting in game two to secure the sweep, while the Cougars were limited to just five hits across the two games.
