SUNY New Paltz Softball Picks up Two Wins over Fredonia on Opening Weekend
New Paltz, NY 鈥� The State University of New York New Paltz Softball program hosted the Fredonia Blue Devils in their conference and home opener Friday. The Hawks won both games of the doubleheader, earning both games 10-0 in the top of the fifth inning. Game One: Alex Frenza pitched all five innings on the mound for the Hawks striking out nine batters, letting up one hit and one walk. The Hawks got it rolling early in the first earning two runs.
