Stags Fall to Merrimack
NORTH ANDOVER, Mass. 鈥� The Fairfield University Baseball team fell to the Merrimack Warriors 4-1 on Saturday, evening their three-game set. Right-hander Ben Alekson went 6.2 solid innings while Nolan Colby provided the offense for the Stags with a solo homer in the fifth. Alekson started with six shutout innings with Merrimack plating all four of their runs in the seventh. The Warriors loaded the bases with one out and beat out a double play ball that would have ended the inning.
