Buena Vista, Va. – The Southern Virginia softball team opened its six-game homestand with a sweep over William Peace University, taking game one 1-0 before securing a 3-2 walk-off victory in game two. The Knights managed just three hits in the opener, but it was all they needed thanks to a dominant performance in the circle from Emmaline DeGroot.
