Softball Wins First, Drops Second in Dreary Doubleheader
Lincoln, NE – Faced with a dreary forecast, Nebraska Wesleyan and Wartburg battled to a series split, Friday. GAME ONE HOW IT HAPPENED Nebraska Wesleyan’s offense rallied for 12 hits, Eva Fahrnbruch tossed a complete game, and NWU halted its five game losing streak with a 14-9, game one victory over Wartburg. After surrendering a run in the first inning, the Black and Gold answered with RBIs from Jenna Kimberling and Paige Comstock to put NWU ahead 2-1.
