Softball Sweeps Morrisville to Open Conference Play
PLATTSBURGH, N.Y. – The Plattsburgh State softball team opened conference play and its home schedule in strong fashion on Friday, sweeping Morrisville in a doubleheader and continuing its unbeaten program history against the Mustangs. The Cardinals set the tone early in game one, using a dominant third inning to secure an 8-0 run-rule victory. After two scoreless innings, Plattsburgh erupted for seven runs in the bottom of the third.
