Skyhawks tested through first round at Palm Valley
GOODYEAR, Ariz. 鈥� The Fort Lewis women’s golf team will have plenty of ground to make up tomorrow morning, as early round struggles sank the Skyhawks into T-20 positioning on the back of a 312 (+24) team score in the opening round of the Ruidoso Junior Golf Association Palm Valley Classic. The 6,045-yard, par-72 combination of the North and South Courses at Palm Valley Golf Club tested the field with no team, and only six of the 142 golfers, shooting under par on Friday afternoon.
