Jersey City, N.J. – Rutgers-Newark erupted for 13 runs on 23 hits to power past New Jersey City, 13-6, in NJAC action on Friday afternoon at Thomas M. Gerrity Complex. After being held scoreless through the first three innings, the Scarlet Raiders’ offense came alive in the fourth and never looked back.
