Rowing Kicks off Weekend in Columbus
BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – Indiana rowing raced against challenging crews and adverse conditions on Friday (April 3), the first of two days at the Ohio State Regatta on the Griggs Reservoir in Columbus, Ohio. Indiana’s day was highlighted by its performances in the Varsity Eight and Third Varsity Eight races, where Hoosier crews captured head-to-head victories in each. Friday’s start time was pushed back an hour to 5 p.m. ET due to windy conditions on the course. IU’s V8 held off a late charge from No. 19-ranked North Carolina.
