Pitts Jr. wins third Track Athlete of the Week honor
BIRMINGHAM, Ala. | Sedgwrick Pitts Jr. was named Track Athlete of the Week by the Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) office on Thursday afternoon for his performance last weekend at the Bulldog Relays hosted by Mississippi. State. Pitts Jr. has been on a tear this season, earning his third Track Athlete of the Week honor of the year. The latest honor for the senior from Tyler, Texas came after a close third place in the 200-meter dash with a 20.85 time in a loaded field.
