Oakland City Sweeps Pomeroys in Friday Doubleheader
OAKLAND CITY, Ind. — The Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College softball team dropped both games of a River States Conference doubleheader at Oakland City on Friday, falling 10-3 in game one and 10-2 in a five-inning game two. Oakland City (25-11) set the tone early in the opener with a five-run first inning and never trailed. Hannah Boardman provided the highlight for the Pomeroys (7-19), going 2-for-3 with a home run and three RBIs, while Caeden Bennett added two hits.
