Luntsford, Toth Win Events at Viking Olympics
The Monmouth College men’s and women’s track and field teams competed at the Viking Olympics on Friday in Rock Island, Illinois. Paige Luntsford (Cairo, Missouri) and Jillian Toth (El Paso, Illinois) both won events while the Scots had numerous top 10 finishes and new personal bests. WOMEN Luntsford dominated the 5000m race, winning by more than two minutes. She took 58 seconds of her career best outdoor time and was just 12 seconds off the Monmouth top 10 list for the event.
