Lancers Split Softball Doubleheader at Presbyterian
CLINTON, S.C. 鈥� Senior right-hander Maggie Chapin threw six strong innings, scattering seven hits and three runs and the Longwood softball team held on for a 4-3 win in the game of its Big South doubleheader at Presbyterian on Friday. The Blue Hose bounced back to score eight unanswered runs over the final three innings in the second game for a split, winning, 8-2. Coming off her first career no-hitter Sunday against USC Upstate, Chapin (10-9) was again sharp.
