Hilltoppers Drop Hard-Fought Match to Frostburg State, 5-2
CLAYSVILLE, Pa. – The West Liberty University women's tennis team battled throughout the lineup on Friday morning but came up short in a 5-2 decision against Frostburg State at McGuffey High School. Frostburg State claimed the early advantage by sweeping all three doubles matches to take a 1-0 lead into singles play. The Hilltoppers' top duo of Maria Martirosyan and Ana Sánchez put together the most competitive showing, falling 6-4 in the No. 1 position.
