Firebirds Weather the Storm to Win the Wisconsin Private College Championships at Home
KENOSHA – The Carthage women’s track & field team returned to action Thursday, hosting its first outdoor meet since 2019 at the Wisconsin Private College Championships. Battling rain, fog, and multiple lightning delays, the Firebirds delivered a dominant performance, recording multiple personal bests and capturing the team title. Carthage claimed the championship with 304 points, while St. Norbert (137.5) and Lawrence (77) rounded out the top three. SPRINTS Anna Kegel led the Firebirds in the sprints, winning the 100-meter dash in 12.92, while Marisa Serpico placed third at 13.33.
