FDU Men win METS Championship, Women Grab Silver Saturday
NEW YORK, N.Y. – FDU Men’s Track and Field was named the METS Champion after totaling a dominant number of 179 points to win the meet on Saturday afternoon at Icahn Stadium. The FDU Women placed in second at the meet with 96 points, finishing behind St. John’s. The FDU men were led by Xavier Hayletts , Ethan Ruffin , and the members of the 4×800 relay team, all of which won their respective events, and Ruffin’s mark of 2.10 meters in the Men’s High Jump was good enough for him to win Field Event MVP for the Men’s Meet.…
