Corbalan and Hernandez win weekly SWAC awards
BIRMINGHAM, Ala. | Jackson State's Paula Corbalan and Helen Hernandez claimed two Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) weekly awards for the Tigers, announced by the conference office on Wednesday afternoon, for their performances last week against the Bethune-Cookman Wildcats and Florida A&M Rattlers. Corbalan was named co-Player of the Week after a 3-1 record over the weekend.
