Cardinals Fall to Oswego in Extra Innings to Open Conference Series
ONEONTA N.Y. – The Plattsburgh State baseball team returned to conference play on Friday, facing Oswego in the first game of a three-game series hosted by Oneonta. Despite a late push, the Cardinals fell 5-2 in extra innings, still searching for their first SUNYAC victory of the season. Oswego drew first blood in the third inning when Daniel Winchester singled to left field, driving in Emil Sander for the game’s opening run. The Cardinals responded in the bottom of the fourth.
