Baseball Rallies in Ninth, Tallies 4-3 Walk-Off Victory Over Amherst
Down 3-1 heading into the bottom of the ninth of Friday’s NESCAC West opener, the Middlebury baseball team ripped off three runs to steal a 4-3 victory over Amherst from the Baseball/Softball Complex. HIGHLIGHTS The first four innings featured a pitchers’ duel between Mammoth starter Nick Fassert and Panther hurler Chase Zidlicky with neither side manufacturing a rally.
