Baseball Drops Liberty League Tilt with RPI, 7-4
SCHENECTADY, N.Y. – The Union College baseball team came up short against Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute 7-4 in Liberty League action on Friday afternoon at Central Park A Diamond. After senior Caleb Miller drew Union (6-12, 1-3 Liberty League) within three in the bottom of the eighth on a bases-loaded walk, sophomore Dyland Swarts stepped to the plate as the go-ahead run. He flew out against RPI’s (16-6, 7-0 Liberty League) closer, Zac Zajac, to end the late-inning threat.
