Alabama State out-hits Jackson State but falls 2-1
MONTGOMERY, Ala. | Despite picking up seven hits in the ballgame and out-hitting Jackson State, Alabama State was unable to push across more runs, as the Hornets fell to the Tigers 2-1 Friday. Kaitlyn Hill (1-7) got the ball to start for Alabama State (13-26, 7-6) and took the loss. The right-hander went 3.1 innings, giving up two runs, zero earned, on four hits, allowing one walk and striking out one.
