Women鈥檚 Tennis Swept at Pratt
Queens, N.Y.- The Marywood University women’s tennis team dropped an Atlantic East Conference matchup on Thursday, falling 7-0 to Pratt Institute at the USTA National Tennis Center. Pratt set the tone early by sweeping all three doubles matches to take a 1-0 lead. The duos of Pallavi Verghese and Kayla Abraham at No. 1 and Beatrice Crespo and Ariana Castro at No. 2 each earned convincing victories, while Pratt also secured the No. 3 doubles point to complete the sweep.
