UIS Men鈥檚 Track Tests Speed at IC Thursday Throwdown
The UIS men's track team competed in middle-distance events at the IC Thursday Throwdown, using the meet as a midseason tuneup and a chance to test their speed. River Derby led the way in the 800-meter run, placing seventh in 2:03.66. Lucas Naugle finished 11th in 2:12.43, and Chase Cooley took 13th in 2:15.36. UIS also fielded three 4x400-meter relay teams, with the top squad finishing fourth in 3:46.67.
