Sweet-Swinging Softball Sweeps Sewanee
Two days after being shut out in the second game of a doubleheader at Maryville, Franklin softball made sure that Thursday brought nothing resembling a repeat. The Grizzlies had the bats going all day long at Sewanee, posting convincing 11-1 and 16-7 victories to finish out their midweek road trip. Franklin (15-5) jumped on top in the first inning of game one, scoring five quick runs. Ruth Kaiser drew a bases-loaded walk before hits by Liv Staigl and Kaylee Stewart plated two runs each.
