Softball: Greyhounds Sweep Golden Wolves
Reading, Pa. (April 2, 2026) – Alvernia University (9-13) dropped both games in a non-conference softball doubleheader to Moravian University (12-8) Thursday afternoon down in Angelica Park. The Greyhounds loaded the bases with no outs in the top of the first, but Alvernia got out of the inning with two great defensive plays. Pitcher Natalie Berwick caught a comebacker in the circle and got the runner on third base for the doubleplay, and Alexia Fitzgerald made a diving catch in left field to record the final out of the inning without giving up the early run.
