HIGH POINT, N.C. - The Gardner-Webb track and field team was in action at High Point on Thursday, taking part in day one of the annual VertKlasse Meeting Among the top performers of the day was sophomore Emily Leatherman . Competing in the women's 3000 meter steeplechase, Leatherman finished nine with a time of 12:13.83 Senior Jessica Perriello was in action for GWU in the women's 5000 meters.
