Reeths-Puffer baseball falls short against Zeeland West
LocalSportsJournal.com The Reeths-Puffer baseball team made a late-game push that fell short to Zeeland West, 8-5, on Wednesday. Brendan Guikema got the start on the mound, allowing five hits, six runs, three walks, and striking out five batters. Jack Yonkman came in looking for the save, and though the Rockets pulled within two runs, it was too late. Yonkman and Bentley Kops each collected a pair of hits at the plate. Reeths-Puffer will be at home on Tuesday, April 14, for an OK-Green doubleheader against Muskegon.
