Panthers Thwarted in Skyline Opener
PURCHASE, N.Y. – The Purchase College men’s lacrosse team was thwarted at home Wednesday night, dropping a tight contest to Mount Saint Mary College by the score of 5-3. With the result, the Panthers are now 1-5 overall and 0-1 in the Skyline Conference. For the Knights, they moved to 3-6 and 1-0, respectively. In the low-scoring affair, the guests were leading at halftime after just a single goal came during the first 30 minutes.
