Men鈥檚 Lacrosse Drops Conference Opener to Maritime
PURCHASE, N.Y. 鈥� The Manhattanville University men’s lacrosse team began Skyline Conference play on Wednesday night, falling 11-5 on GoValiants.com Field to Maritime College. The loss drops the Valiants to 2-6 overall. After being tied 1-1 at the end of the first quarter and 4-4 at the half, Maritime pulled away by outscoring Manhattanville 7-1 over the final 30 minutes of play. The Privateers ended the night with seven unanswered goals.
