Inniss Leads UIS at IC Thursday Throwdown
Kaleigh Inniss led UIS women's track at the IC Thursday Throwdown with a win in the 1500 meters in 5:02.51. The event was the highlight of the day for UIS, as teammate Marissa Roggensack followed closely behind to take second, giving the Prairie Stars the top two spots. Kali Gaden added a ninth-place finish, rounding out UIS' strong showing in the distance race. In the 800 meters, Audrey Wagoner ran 2:49.65 for 13th, gaining valuable experience against a tough field. The UIS 4x400-meter relay team finished third in 5:25.75.
