Gonzalez-Velasquez Sits in 11th in Heptathlon as Texas Relays Get Underway

Two Cardinals are competing in the event, Isabella Gonzalez-Velasquez and Lexie Leal . Gonzalez-Velasquez is in 11th after the first four events and Leal sits in 19th heading into day two. Gonzalez-Velasquez started her day with an eighth-place finish in the 100-meter hurdles, crossing the finish line in 14.10 seconds.
