Florian Becomes First Aggie MPSF Annual Award Recipient
SEATTLE, WASH. – New Mexico State freshman Natalia Florian put together a historic showing at the MPSF Championships, totaling 71 individual points, the highest total by a first-year swimmer, while helping the Aggies place second and becoming the first Aggie ever to receive an MPSF annual award. Florian swam a leg of the championship-winning 800 free relay, splitting 1:48.78 as NM State posted a school and facility record time of 7:12.55.
